SF Formal Friday Slurpees!

Apologies for this being up a bit late; chalk it up to the west coast time difference. I could find neither cable nor SD card reader in the office out there to grab the photo. Let it be said there is an advantage to being in Boston and having 7 years of random tech detritus sprinkled around the office.

I am working from home today, which means my lunch options are pretty limited. Thanks to a cold I picked up, I can’t taste well enough to justify delivery. However, due to lack of general use, the only food I have in my kitchen is baking supplies and some leftover odds and ends. Here are some snack alternatives I’ve come up with, from my kitchen to yours:

Ants on a Metal Beam – peanut butter spread liberally on a butter knife, with raisins embedded. The raisins are the ‘ants’!

Ants on a Cloud – peanut butter spread liberally on cauliflower florets, with raisins embedded.

Ants in the Soup – a microwaved bowl of chocolate chips with raisins embedded.

Ants with Salt – raisins and salt.

Ants in a Cake – bake a cake. frost with peanut butter and embed raisins.

Blood on a Pickle – heat up Campbell’s condensed tomato soup without adding the extra can of liquid. Spread overtop a pickle. Add raisins to taste.

What other fun snacks can you invent?!
