extra! extra!

some exciting hits this week, outside of the general ad industry sphere: benjamin is featured in december’s issue of esquire as one their best and brightest. they don’t seem to post much of their content online, but the issue is now available on newsstands, and you know, our office coffee table, for at least a few more weeks.

in this sunday’s new york times magazine (!), available online now – benjamin is one of three digital experts who discuss, well, digital, and some other riveting subjects such as katie couric and overalls. yes.

on being human traffic

so on june 4th, i’m being auctioned off by boston magazine to benefit the sport in society kevin fitz fund.

the good: the money raised will go to this amazing charity, which is very dear to my heart. someone who doesn’t have the motor skills of a small, stupid child will put make up on me. i will get my hair did. i will be wearing a foxy dress.

the bad: someone really awful could buy me. and probably will. i could fall off the stage and land in a cake like on a sitcom. and probably will. also, i am being auctioned off.

newsweek! roller derby!

so after a marathon trip out west, i took a red eye home to boston to talk with newsweek about roller derby. and also, apparently, to make sure that my greasy forehead was captured forever on film. good times. the segments are live at newsweek.
