Be a Fabric Designer

Ashley Holtgraver clued me into Spoonflower, where you can get your own designs printed on fabric. Pretty cool, so I made a few. clockwise from upper left: xoxo, cupcakes pink, cupcakes blue, blocks lines.
Backstory:
For Christmas, my mom handmade me a pillowcase. It was a super sweet effort and I really wanted to appreciated it… but I just couldn’t get over how much I really didn’t want to wake up to that print. I felt kind of like a jerk but c’mon, it was so ugly: So I was having a conversation w/ Ashley about how uncool fabric-by-the-yard is, and that my mom couldn’t really help that she couldn’t find anything cool, and that’s where she told me about the whole Spoonflower deal.
The end.

jayna, I enjoy your Hemingway-esque succinctness in blogging. and i <3 your designs!
damn that is cool, but 18 bucks a yard?? that is insanity!
The cupcake fabric will look great in my Diseased Cell themed dining room.
Are you gonna show us what the prints look like when you get them?
