I am getting really lazy with my picture taking! This is the only decent photo (of the total four that I took) and it still sucks. Blurry and poorly cropped and poorly lit. Sigh. I will fix this slackery soon, I promise.

Dave put on a fantastic conference. This was my first Flashbelt and it was quite a treat. Dave was the consummate host and he did a great job making the speakers feel welcome. So to you, Dave (and the very capable crew you assembled), I give you my thanks. I had a really good time.

Points of interest which I should have captured on film:
• My hotel room had a view of the horrible bridge collapse from last year.
• Mario sings a mean mean version ofThe Lion Sleeps Tonight, complete with falsetto highlights. Simply amazing.
• Bocce Ball is just about the best bar game ever. Played at the Nomad World Pub .
• Geoff is the best Bocce Ball partner. Successfully beat out the team of Mario and André , Erik and Tobey, and Jared and Laurie.
• Bowling is for the young. Bowled for the first time in over 10 (maybe even 15) years and boy is my right forearm sore! Despite lucking my way to a 158 on the first game, I had to give up mid second game because my aching body couldnt go on any longer. BTW, Jeremy shined with a 162, and one of the only two turkeys scored that evening.

So many more highlightseven more reason to have a camera at the ready. But my fuzzy memories will have to suffice for now.
