I've tried Stevia in Zevia drinks (clever naming, huh?) http://www.zevia.com/ sold at a gigantic local health food store in SF called Rainbow Grocery.
I was jazzed about trying the non-artificial sweetener and keeping my diet soda habit...But Zevia wasn't so good. Strangley, I have become so used to the typical (aspartame, nutrasweet, etc) diet sodas, that Zevia seems tastes like sugary syrup. The flavors didn't help much either. I tried Orange and Cola. Tasted like a melted snow-cone.
Sorry to dissapoint. I'm sure future companies will get better with Stevia. And hopefully they will make products that don't rhyme with the main selling point.
Oh nice! Bottle it, brand it and send it out for taste testing :)
We are thinking about banning soda here in the SF office. I am slighltly terrified of the idea.
So what flavors has Dr. Rick conceived of?
